Dysport (also known as Lishutuo/Lizhi/Jishi) is a protein extracted using advanced technology from Europe. It's a natural and purified protein, its main component being highly purified "Botulinum Toxin A," which effectively blocks nerve signal transmission, acting on muscles to temporarily paralyze and stop muscle contraction. How many treatment sessions are needed?
The manufacturer generally recommends one treatment to last 6 to 12 months. After the effect wears off, it can be used again. To achieve better results, the doctor may use a smaller dosage to prevent the medication from spreading and affecting other muscles, and a follow-up injection will be given after about 3 weeks to ensure the dosage is appropriate. Especially for forehead wrinkles and frown lines, if too much medication is used, it can affect the eye muscles, causing symptoms of drooping eyelids and eye muscle weakness. This condition will naturally recover after 2-3 months when the medication wears off. The actual treatment course will depend on the client's condition and will be based on the doctor's advice.
Do you need a device or Botox to improve wrinkles?
There are many device technologies for improving wrinkles, commonly including HIFU, radiofrequency, vacuum negative pressure, and optical tightening. They are mainly divided into two categories: 1) those targeting the skin and subcutaneous fat, and 2) those primarily targeting the skin.
